1. Scope and commitment

These Child Safety Standards and Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) Policy apply to the BuzzMe app and the related services operated by ChaseLight Technology Limited ("we", "us", "our").

BuzzMe is an adults-only social app. We are committed to keeping it a secure environment for adults, and we hold a zero-tolerance stance toward any content or behavior that endangers minors — anywhere in the service, including profiles, posts, messages, and calls.

2. Strict age requirement (18+)

BuzzMe is designed exclusively for adults.

  • No minors. Individuals under the age of 18 are prohibited from creating an account, accessing the app, or uploading any content.
  • Age gating and enforcement. We gate registration to adults and review signals that suggest an account may belong to a minor. Where we identify or reasonably suspect that a user is under 18, we act promptly: the account is suspended and permanently closed.
  • Reporting a minor. If you believe a user on BuzzMe is under 18, report them through the in-app Report feature (choose "Underage user"), or email buzzmeandfeedback@nobuzzme.com.

3. Zero tolerance for CSAM and CSAE

We prohibit any form of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) or Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE). Prohibited content and behavior includes, but is not limited to:

  • Visual CSAM: any imagery or media depicting the sexual exploitation of a minor.
  • Grooming: any attempt to manipulate, entice, or build trust with a minor for sexual purposes.
  • Predatory conduct: harassment, solicitation, or any inappropriate communication directed toward minors.
  • Sextortion: any attempt to threaten or coerce a minor involving sexual content or activity.

Accounts involved in any of the above are terminated, and where we identify apparent CSAM we report it to the authorities (Section 5).

4. How we detect and moderate

We combine automated detection tools and human review to keep prohibited content and behavior off BuzzMe:

  • Automated signals. We screen for known illegal content and for language patterns that suggest grooming or exploitation.
  • Human review. Trained reviewers prioritize child-safety reports for prompt manual review and action.
  • Reports from you. Every report of an underage user or inappropriate content feeds directly into this process.

We continually review these mechanisms and update them as risks and technology evolve.

5. Reporting to authorities

We comply with all applicable laws protecting minors, including reporting obligations in the United States and elsewhere.

  • NCMEC reporting. In accordance with U.S. federal law (18 U.S.C. § 2258A), all confirmed instances of CSAM are reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).
  • Law enforcement. We preserve relevant evidence and cooperate fully with law enforcement investigations related to the exploitation of minors.

6. Reporting tools for users

  • In-app reporting. Every profile and conversation includes a clear Report function. Choose the category that fits — including "Underage user" and "Inappropriate content".
  • Priority handling. Reports involving potential child-safety risk are treated as high priority and reviewed by our safety team.
  • Blocking. You can also block any user immediately from their profile or your conversation with them.

7. Minors' data

We do not knowingly collect or process personal data from individuals under 18. If we learn that an underage user has provided personal data, we take immediate steps to delete that information from our active systems and close the associated account. If you believe a minor has provided personal data to BuzzMe, contact us at buzzmeandfeedback@nobuzzme.com and we will act promptly.

8. Contact and urgent reports

For questions or concerns about child safety and CSAE, contact our safety team:

Immediate danger

If you believe a child is in immediate physical danger, or you hold evidence of active exploitation, contact your local law enforcement or emergency services right away. In the United States, you can also report to the NCMEC CyberTipline at report.cybertip.org or 1-800-843-5678.

Our safety team reads every child-safety message and responds as quickly as possible — urgent cases first.
